There are these fish in the river down steam from the Finch Puryn paper co. that i shit you not, will bite on shoe laces or any other thing that happens to fall in the water. These things are nucking futs.

You should have seen the friggin carp i saw last summer when i was fishing out of my kayak. This monster was in 2 feet of water and had to be 3 feet long. I got right up to it and it took off with a tsunami splash that damm near tipped me over.

...we used to catch them at work, on break, out of a creek in Harmony, PA...we'd leave them lie on the shore...go back to work...they'd still be alive hours later on next break...

The best bait for carp are Mulberries around this way. If you know of a pond or lake with mulberry trees that hang over the water and the lake has carp in it, simply cast a mulberry under that tree and they will hit it like a shark. Caught 64 of them one day using that method. The mulberries are hard to keep on the hook but it can be done with a small hook.
