tt, you might need to install sun-java6-plugin (via synaptic package manager or apt-get or whatever)

yes, I had the same problem and had to do the same thing. first make sure you are using the karmic koala version and not the absolute latest ubunutu. ... or use the other computers!

...well, I just discoverd the netbook don't work with the verizon wireless thingy either
(for in the truk) because of the linux,so some mods (bigger SSD and more RAM) are required and windows will go back on it...and that'll fix that...
