and how did you do that antialiasing thing?!?!!??!?!?
Ray Dillon12/4/2005 7:24:39 am
Thanks, man! What anti-aliasing thing are you talking about?
kix12/4/2005 6:26:09 pm
if u compare your drawring with the one above or below... dont u see a difference between the fine lines?
\<12/4/2005 10:19:35 pm
if you look at for example the line that starts in the top left corner and crosses the whole picture - its not just white, it has pixels in different shades of grey around it here n there...making it look really smooth...i doubt you did those manually...same in the "human nature" pic a couple pictures down...if you zoom in you can see it...

Ah, I see. Well, I think that's just because I'm using Wacom Tablet and it gives a smoother line than trying to use a mouse. I don't think it's really anti-aliased, just less jerky because of the fluid motions I can make with the tablet and pen. And I'm using the finest line on there, so that could be part of it, too.

well but if you zoom in, it shows pixels of gray around the thinnest line...its pseudo anti-aliasing, granted, but there's something goin on.
\<12/5/2005 5:13:18 am
well kix explained to me why its not pseudo but instead anti.aliasing in its purest form...i still dont know what _exactly's_ goin on...and sorry bout floodin but me and kix have really been wondering about this strange occurence.
