...most of drivers where I work don't bother with logs, it is just a small fine to not have one compared to log falseifcation so I am told...

but how did you like the NEW Ohio law that truckers can't smoke in their truck because it's considered a place of business.......even if its owner operated! Or the NEW Homeland security regs that say everytime you stop, before you go back on the road, you have to do a complete "pre-check" including ON TOP of and under your trailor and inspect all of the goods you are hauling to make sure there are no bombs. Right now voluntary but soon to be law.

I think my driving career is coming to an end. I see these companies getting richer while they push us drivers to the edge of insanity. I am currently working midnights locally because I dont have enough time in yet to get days. Most companies wont hire anyone unless you have 18 months experience. I almost fell asleep at the wheel yesterday. My shift is 6pm to 6am. Oh, and I am a single father. The list goes on and on. Fuck it.

...trucking sucks for sure, but it pays the bills and you don't have to play alot of the f$%k f%$k games like you do on some other jobs (work well with others?)...
