A. We are a quintet of child actors (3 boys and 2 girls ages 10-12) created by Walt Disney Records who sing, dance, and (in their music videos and photo shoots) pretend to play instruments along to re-recordings of Devo songs, performed by Devo's five original members.

from what I read, the origional devo line up is playing the instruments and they are just doing the vocals (and instrument syncing for the videos). Some links here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devo_2.0
