i like that idea gerold...but what goes in must come out. either by digestion...or...well i havent seen saw2 yet, but you get the idea. appart from that i could imagine that there are jam devices that would make locating those bugs impossible.

i read something interesting in a book yesterday. if you would make the cockpit in airplanes inaccessible in _every_ way - there would be no use in trying to hijack planes, right? ok. but youd also have to 'seal' all manned radar stations, so hijackers couldnt force radar operators/tower personnel at gunpoint to communicate with the pilots, for example. i know this sounds almost undoable...but i reckon airport security in the u.s. is an even costlier and more complicated undertaking nowadays, too.

@seeker, anything that you are afraid of. In our paranoind culture(s) we are scared of so much stuff based on horror of "if it did" rather than "chances are...". What are you afraid of? Odds are it will never happen.

I am not afraid of anything but my own death and pain.

Pain is rational, but not death, not unless hell is a reality for you and you fear that, but there's no proof that hell exists. Fear of a painful death is rational I guess.

I am afraid of something bad happening to my kids. Any parent who's lost their kid in a crowd will know that one. it's like I say.. chances are they are fine and looking for you, but the horror of not being able to find them again makes you start to believe that the worst has happened to them and you start panicking.

First I drew black squares, from big to small, then I filled them up with black, white, black, white and so on, then I picked up white and substracted 5 from the hex value every smaller square. If you look at it from a distance you'll see a somewhat strange effect

for some reason, this reminds me of the old website (not around anymore) called stinkyfeet.com
this college kid rubbed his bare feet all over a public shower's floor, then wrapped them in plastic bags for 3 weeks straight to see how his feet progressed. It ended early becasue he was basically crippled. the infections he got were NASTY !!! Everyday he would take the bags off, take pictures of the feet, then poke his feet and describe how they felt...
There used to be another website where a guy would randomly leave a plate of meat on someone's lawn, then photographi it everyday until they noticed it and got rid of it.
Man, those were the good old days.
